CAN YOU SAY MILF?

Ok so clearly I didn't stick to my vow... what else is new!? There is almost always something utterly spectacular that I run into every once in a while that I just can not resist blogging about, hence my return. GISELE. That is one freaking hot mama. If you guys didn't see her spread in V magazine, fret not, it's right here. Photographed by Hedi Slimane and styled by Clare Richardson, this shoot kills me. It's perfect.

Wild Things.

I am unsure as to the reasoning but my life has seemed to be in the company of a steep, downward spiral as of late. Judging from my latest posts, or quite obvious “lack there of” I think it’s safe to say that things are in dire need of change. So this is me saying that it will. Starting today I shall blog once a day, or at the very least once a week (should Ry High Journalism allow it) and not only will I blog, I’ll do an adequate job at doing so. With that boring, self-pity filled introduction aside I need to show you a drool-worthy photo shoot I came across this morning, that quickly prompted me back to my old internet stomping ground. As Toronto seems to be getting colder and colder, I have been finding myself more and more intrigued with the idea of bundled fashion. I came across these photos, shot by Mathew Brooks, while on Location in Le Touquet in Northern France. I don’t know what about it made me think of Toronto but the Earthy, freezing cold ora of the photos screamed College street car stop… a strange idea to be prompted by mesmerizing scenic photographs from the North of France... but hey… What can I say, I’m Canadian!
Enjoy!

LITTLE WOMEN... OR NOT SO MUCH.

I am sorry but being a shorty myself I am allowed to drool. How the heck does a girl that is 5'2'' look this perfectly modelesque in a floor length ensemble... someone needs to let me in on the secret.

THE LOOK OF LATE NIGHT SASS...

My world has suddenly become ultra chic in an almost politically incorrect sort of way. I have found that I am apparently a sucker for nights filled with yachts, gay boys, and an unlimited supply of cosmopolitans which had been something not brought to my attention many (if any) times before these past couple of weeks. This summer has opened me up to a new side, one which I am quite enjoying, and though my liver has had a less than stellar experience with the whole thing I've decided I'm going to roll with it. With Ultra chic nights must come ultra chic get-ups and thus I have been trying to deliver. The good thing about my new found (perhaps not so secret) life is it is not only acceptable, but preferable to wear sky-high, calf popping pumps.
Eat your hearts out city girls.

SHE WAS A DAY TRIPPER...

As my days in Toronto seem to be getting longer and longer I have been finding myself on the more creative side of things. I've been waking up far happier than usual which could be contributing to my day-dreaminess and though I am not complaining about this sudden appearance in all things demiurgic I would prefer that things picked up. This morning after waking up to a tall soy tazo chai latte (complements of my roommate) I was beyond giddy, and couldn't help but play dress-up... and so I did. I have had the pleasure of waking up next to my new friend/mega-babe Jen Stafford, a hotter asian version of Rihanna would be a fair description and I couldn't stop myself from dressing this Calgarian up, and take her out in the real city.
Mostly Vintage mixed with a bit of new.

E A S Y L I V I N...

If you have never had the pleasure of visiting a little hidden treasure called Victoria Beach (which, unless you hail from the ever eventful Winnipeg, Manitoba I would venture to assume you have not) I would highly suggest making the trip. Although I have never mentioned it before 8th and Alexandra is the intersection at Victoria Beach where I had my first cabin, and it is truly the steeziest place I have ever been in my life. (Which is a lot to say coming from a fashion obsessed Torontonian) I just spent the last three weeks away from my usual College and Bathurst home base and relocated myself to Clubhouse Beach where I drank far too much Sangria, ate a million dream cookies and spent my Tuesday's belting out the classics at karaoke. So I apologize for my lack of postings but I had a hard enough time peeling myself off the beach to go home for dinner, let alone hit the Macbook to say the least. Here is a small sneak peak of my Manitoba paradise.
